点评:As with the last previous review my question is why is this place closed for four years? I have tried to go here for at least 4 years! Supposedly it is for renovations but I suspect it is just that the owners do not want to open it! After talking to some of the docents at other mansions, the distinct impression I got was that even though they are members of museum associations they do not allow tours. I guess I have to think why would people who own a museum not allow tours and what might be the benefit of keeping it closed for at least 5 years? The Breakers was built in 2 years! Are there benefits to keep the public out and yet be labeled a museum?
Years ago I called and asked about it and the person on the phone was very cryptic. He told me that they only allowed reservations and pretty much they did not have any.
Again why do they and call it a museum? Wouldn't allowing paying patrons help with upkeep and "renovations"?

几年前我打电话询问过这件事,电话里的人非常神秘。他告诉我他们只允许预订,而且他们几乎没有任何预订。
他们为什么又称它为博物馆?允许付费顾客参观难道不会有助于维护和“装修”吗?
