Great space in a small community!

点评：I arrived later in the day, but was still able to do some exploring. The zoo building wasn't open, but you could walk outside to see some of the animals. Not many were in view. The information provided outside their space gave good and interesting information. They had animals that I had not heard of or seen in other zoos. I wasn't able to see any of these in person. I was able to see a few birds, eagles and a hawk. They have some nice trails by the river and a scenic drive that includes a space for elk and buffalo. I didn't see any, but I would definitely go back to walk more trails, go inside the building, when it's open, and take the scenic drive again. I did see a group of deer. They were across the street on a school lawn. If you have children, they have a nice playground. Clean restrooms that were open. Picnic space and it looked like a small outdoor pool for summertime, not sure if it's still in use. Do some research to prepare for a longer, more specific visit. What a great outdoor space to have in your community!
