The Mount Airy Visitors Center的点评
点评：Every few years we stop to walk through Main Street. We count a few really cute shops there. We found some very over priced tourist shops too. Slates Mercantile was a beautiful store. We could have stayed a very long time. There were a lot of artist made items, there was a section of gentle used and clean clothing beautifully displayed, jewelry and decorative items were placed throughout the store. She sold tea and she had tea tastings. This store had the best vibe. It was the best place we stopped there and I hope she is very successful.
I also recommend Fancy Gap Outfitters. They were kind and welcoming also. They had the best shirts and clothing merchandise and even shoes.
The artificial flowered and garden store was so nice. We also loved the antique store.
We wanted custard from Whits, their sign said open at 12:00 and a few people were waiting. They did not open. It was very misleading to have a sign but not open. Online I saw later that they were open from Tuesday. They need t update their sign on the door.
