Always an enjoyable visit
Jersey Zoo的点评
点评：Not my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last!!!
I got on the bus to the zoo on a Monday and it was ideal - pretty quiet in the zoo compared to weekends, of course.
I started by visiting their charity shop across the car park (if you get the bus, walk round the path then through the car park and you’ll see it once you’re in the second part of the car parking). It’s huge with all sorts of things to look at! I picked up a couple of lovely prints from 2023’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year which I managed to keep flat in my backpack all afternoon!
I then grabbed some takeaway lunch at Café Firefly before heading into the zoo.
Each time I visit there are new animals to be seen, or changes to where animals are located. The only animals I didn’t see were the Gorillas who are having a brand new, state of the art, house built for them. I’m looking forward to visiting again when that’s completed!
The orangutans were having a lazy day, the giant otters were making a beautiful racket, and the lemurs were a joy to watch.
They also have an excellent shop on the way out with pocket-money options, and then the usual stuff you see everywhere, but also really nice branded products, and local products. My ‘go to’ items are always a branded pencil, a branded pen, and branded postcards. I normally struggle with getting postcards at this zoo unfortunately but I hope they look to get some in the future!

出口处还有一家很棒的商店，出售各种价格亲民的商品，以及随处可见的普通商品，还有一些非常不错的品牌产品和当地特产。我每次必买的都是品牌铅笔、品牌钢笔和品牌明信片。可惜的是，我通常很难在这个动物园买到明信片，但我希望他们以后能引进一些！
