Not the Nikki Beach Experience We Expected

点评：Having visited Nikki Beach venues around the world, including Santorini, Marbella and Dubai, I can honestly say this was the most disappointing experience we’ve had. The other locations have always been fantastic, which is why we booked here with high expectations.
We visited during their opening weekend. Given the occasion, we were surprised that it wasn’t particularly busy, which perhaps should have been a sign of things to come.
We had booked a bed on the deck, and upon arrival were told that because they weren’t busy, we could have a complimentary upgrade to a poolside bed. Naturally, we accepted and enjoyed what was otherwise a pleasant day in a beautiful setting.
The problem came when the bill arrived.
At no point were we told that accepting the so-called “free upgrade” would remove the credit included with our original booking. Had this been explained clearly at the outset, we could have made an informed decision. Instead, we only discovered this at the end of the day when the bill was presented.
The issue wasn’t the amount of money; it was the lack of transparency. What was presented as a complimentary upgrade turned out to come with a significant cost that wasn’t properly communicated. It left a very sour taste after what had otherwise been an enjoyable experience.
Nikki Beach has built a strong reputation worldwide, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Customers paying premium prices expect premium service, and that includes clear and honest communication. Unfortunately, on this occasion, that standard was not met.
I hope management take this feedback on board because the venue has potential, but transparency and customer experience need significant improvement.
