Chimney Rock National Historic Site的点评
点评：Since we’re in Scotts Bluff, we decided to go to chimney rock which about 30 miles down the road. The road is actually the old Oregon Trail. So if you’re a history buff, this might be a good visit to pair with the visit to Scott Bluff. Also, I am a geology, buff, so seeing geological formation like this .it’s fun for me and I didn’t want to pass it by. So this was ashort visit, because we were going to the Black Hills later on. We did not go to the visitor center, but just took in view and I did not disappoint. Even though it was a rainy day, we could see the rock quite well.
One thing to be aware of . There are not many signs off the main road, we kinda missed the little sign, then had a U-turn at the intersection and drive down side road. But that’s not too bad because you can see chimney rock from the main road anyway. Just thought I put that in for folks who are on the way to see chimney rock.
