Neat but super small
The Original Mackinac Island Butterfly House & Insect World的点评
点评：Super tiny! The price is absorbent for what is there. They need more areas to sit and enjoy. The best part of the entire experience was before you head in they have maybe a hundred or so butterflies at various stages of life cycle. Lots of what appeared to be owl butterflies. It was neat to be able to get a really nice identifier page. We didn’t see maybe more than three or four different butterflies, lots of the same types. The insect part was maybe a dozen aquarium ps with several lizards and cockroaches. We didn’t see anything in a few.It is kinda cool but the price is not justified for the experience. The hoodie in the gift shop was almost $200 with taxes and fees and it was screen painted not embroidered. The painted turtle sculpture outside was cool! The maps that you can find are horrible to get you there. Also, we stopped at the visitor center and she gave us incorrect direction. They told us to look for a sign with a butterfly down the street, there is a sign but it is one street UP from the road we were on. Lucky we passes a few island workers and they were very nice in directing us to the location.
