Beautiful grounds, great camping

点评：A lovely campsite. The grounds are beautiful. The fishing was difficult but fun (apparently previous flooding issues gave questions over what fish are actually in the lakes. I personally didn't fish but my BIL and nephew did!).
We had a 5 nighter camping with electric hook up (our first electric camp trip) The pitch was a fair size. Great that each one had it's own tap too. Even if you didn't go electric, there are taps regularly around the site which is good as you don't have to walk ages for water. We were near the fishermen's toilets, which were clean, regularly stocked with toilet paper and had soap. The shower block near reception was ok. In each shower cubicle tho there was an awful shower curtain which seemed to serve no purpose other than attack you! -get rid of them, they're disgusting! The shower itself was a good pressure and hot, but only ran for 15 seconds per button push. Not good! Especially when rinsing.
Our pitch was near some permanent large caravans which one of them at night had bright flashing coloured outdoor lights on running from about 8.30pm til gone midnight. I get that permanent caravans get used regularly and the residents of said van were there during our visit, but for only a few nights. The bright flashing lights continued after they left, which quite frankly when trying to sleep in a tent, was bloody annoying -if you're not staying there to see them, turn them off or at least turn off the flashing!! For these reasons I have given the site 4/5 stars.
Newark town is within walking distance and a bus stop right outside the entrance, we did this on a couple of days.
Overall, a great site, we would stay again, albeit check on the pitch to ensure the disco lights were not affecting us.

纽瓦克镇在步行距离内，入口外就有公交车站，我们这样做了几天。
