Greenhouse at Rosebud Theatre FULL of Profanity and Dark

点评：We have gone to Rosebud for over 20 years and enjoyed every time UNTIL this show!
Greenhouse is VERY unlike anything Rosebud has presented in the past. It does not seem to match their previous good reputation.
My husband and I left at intermission (even though we had drove 2.5 hours to come!) as it was very dark and had a high volume of profanity throughout the entire first half … we were shocked. It wasn’t mild words/phrases or mild volume! It was a lot!
There was no warning of this in writing or spoken before the show (although if you were already there and drove … it’s a bit late!). Though I have since been told that they have added a warning.
And to tell you the truth, I’d never think Rosebud would have to have a warning because they’ve always prided themselves in ‘being different’
… in a good way! What they show is wholesome and good. That is what we’ve liked about them … before Greenhouse.
This is a warning that this show is anything but wholesome or good … no matter how the 2nd half ended!
It’s not a certain age that would be ok to watch this … there is a LOT of language and the darkness is nothing that I want to entertain.
