点评：There were 10 of us who did an excursion to the Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary. What an experience ! The tour guide Dineen was superb and very informative. Took us places off the beaten trail where we had an 'off the grid experience'. Wildlife, Alaskan beaches, the history of totem poles was very educational. The glacier waterfall was amazing...and chilly.
The gift shop was extremely a place to visit. Because of airline weight restrictions and carry-ons I purchased a few Blueberry, Huckleberry and SalmonBerry pretzels for colleagues and friends and of course myself, and they were beyond delicious. So good, I contacted the owner, Amy who has been so gracious and is keeping my supply going in the 'lower 48'. Thanks Amy ! Appreciate you 😊
I would definitely, if one of your cruise stops is Ketchikan, to do this tour. You could not ask for a better group of folks to give you the history of the 49th State, definitely 'The Last Frontier'. DO NOT miss the gift shop. Pop in and say Hi to Amy and the gang and shop local.
