The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre的点评
点评：Listen, I love Roald Dahl books, my daughter loves Roald Dahl books but this ‘museum’ just did not hit the mark.
A wonderful history, being in Roald Dahl’s village, but the actual museum consisted of two rooms. The rest of the space was dedicated to a workshop room, a reading/story room and cafe/courtyard.
The main part of the museum (the two rooms) had some potential but they were just too text heavy. I found this to be not very inclusive of special needs or even young children who can’t read yet. I understand it’s a museum about a writer, you’d expect writing, but seriously, where were all those images and child-centred content!
As a seriously worn out parent, in the summer holidays, this was a 30 min activity at most, so was pretty underwhelmed having travelled an hour to get there.
To be frank, the best part was the Costa down the road.
