点评：Pathiramanal is a bird watcher’s paradise. It is about 1.5 km from Muhamma Boat Jetty and about 13 km from Alappuzha / 18.5 Km from Kumarakom. This small island on the backwaters is a safe haven for hundreds of rare migrating birds. A 1.5 hour motor boat ride or a 30 minute speedboat trip from Alappuzha gets you here. Surrounded by the Vembanad Lake, Pathiramanal is accessible only by boat. It is an ideal pit stop in the middle of a houseboat ride.

Reachable through boats only. Nearest boat jetty is Kayippuram Boat Jetty. Enough private boat operators are available there. Normally they charged minimum charge of ₹500/- ferry return service and ₹1000/- for rounding the island and return ferry service. You can spend 1-2 hours there. Entry fee ₹20/- Visitors must avoid plastic and the govt should maintain the island better.
