Ramapuram Beach的点评
点评：Chirala’s Ramapuram Beach is very well connected to Ongole and the Bapatla highway, and it has strong potential to become a major tourist destination. As someone from Hyderabad who has visited beaches in Gokarna, Goa, and Mangalore, I truly see how much this place could grow if it were better maintained. Unfortunately, the current state of the beach makes it difficult for tourists—especially families—to enjoy their visit.
Below are the key concerns I observed:
1. Open Liquor Serving:
Almost every local shop near Ramapuram Beach is openly serving liquor, which creates discomfort and inconvenience for families and general visitors.
2. Overcharging Tourists:
Many shopkeepers are charging excessively high prices for basic items. For example, a 1-litre water bottle is being sold for ₹25–30, far above the standard price.
3. Unauthorized Parking Charges:
Some local individuals are collecting parking fees from tourist vehicles without any proper authorization. Even though I had booked a room in a nearby resort and did not use the beach parking area, I was forced to pay a parking fee.
The government and local administration should seriously look into these issues and take strict actions to regulate shop activities, prevent overcharging, and stop unauthorized parking or toll collections. Without such measures, tourist-friendly beaches like Suryalanka and Ramapuram may never reach their true potential for development.
