An Unforgettable Rioja Wine Experience

点评：I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Familia Martínez Bujanda – Finca Valpiedra, and I can’t recommend the Soul of Valpiedra 4x4 Vineyard Experience enough. As a solo traveler, I was having a difficult time finding a winery in Rioja that would accept a reservation for just one person, as most required a minimum of two guests. I was so grateful that Familia Martínez Bujanda welcomed solo visitors and made it possible for me to enjoy this incredible experience.
My tour was hosted by Leticia Villegas, and she was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel genuinely welcome. She took the time to ask about my background, my interest in wine, and what had brought me to Rioja, which made the experience feel very personal. The 4x4 tour through the vineyards was a highlight. Seeing the entire estate while learning about the history of the Valpiedra vineyard, the Martínez Bujanda family, and their winemaking philosophy was fascinating. As someone who loves wine and is studying it, I appreciated how informative and engaging the tour was.
The wine tasting was outstanding, showcasing truly exceptional wines, and Leticia’s knowledge and passion made each wine even more enjoyable. She also went above and beyond by taking photos of me at the end of the tour and even calling a taxi to get me back to my hotel.
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Rioja. If you’re looking for a memorable winery experience—especially if you’re traveling solo—I highly recommend Familia Martínez Bujanda and the Soul of Valpiedra 4x4 Vineyard Experience.
