点评：What an awesome cool state park! I picked this destination because it was easily accessible from my cabin in northern Wisconsin. First off, when you turn on the road up to the park, be sure to take it slowly. It is beautiful - winding and climbing up. There are many trails that cross the main road. Getting to the main parking area, it is large with a nice lodge with bathroom facilities and a park office where you can purchase your day pass if you don't have the annual pass. This is a high volume park - especially on weekends - so I'd recommend to arrive early to come mid-week when it is less busy. The views on the unique rock formations near the river are really cool as is the swing bridge, one of the main features of the park. Numerous trails to hike as well. Really excellent interpretive features behind the main lodge as well. On either your way out or way into the park, it is worth your time to stop near the bridge and take in the views - I think some of the most beautiful in the park. Wear good hiking shoes here. There are plenty of rocks calling your name.
