Jay Cooke State Park的点评
点评：My husband and I visited Jay Cooke SP on our way up north in late May.
I bought the entrance ticket online in advance, which was very easy to do. It cost $7. I wrote down the ticket number on a piece of paper and set it on our dashboard while we were in the park.
The river is the big draw here, and it’s very impressive, at least in May. Multiple little waterfalls and rapids are in the river’s path. We walked a little ways along both sides of the river to see different perspectives. There’s a really fun swinging bridge you can use to cross the river.
After our river walk, we drove back towards the entrance of the park and stopped at the pioneer cemetery. There’s a small pullout for parking. I believe there is also a sign. You walk up a staircase to get to the cemetery. There are very few headstones left. If you walk back to the corner there are several more.
The drive entering and exiting the parking is scenic. We spotted a porcupine walking alongside the road.
