Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens的点评
点评：It’s been quite a few years since I’d visited and the grounds are even more amazing. There are a couple new garden areas, new pathways, and the trolls! Our August visit had everything lush and vivid with blooms. The woman who checked us in told us the dahlias had the best display they’d ever had so we were sure to check them out.
Favorites from our visit were the trolls, the Vayo Meditation Garden, the waterfall, the fairy garden with all the kids intently creating their own fairy houses, the hillside garden, the five senses garden and the arbor area. But seriously, it was all spectacular!
I highly recommend wearing great walking shoes - we did do some backtracking and visited each garden and each troll. With that said, my watch logged 5.7 miles while there. We each took a water bottle but wished we’d taken several. You could refill your bottles at the cafe and at the visitor center but we were seldom near either. I’d also recommend putting on bug spray or using wipes in the parking lot. The number of people spraying near blooming plants and bees was crazy!
