Port Of Echuca Wharf , Paddlesteamers & Museum的点评
点评：The Port of Echuca Discovery Centre is a "Must See" experience when in the Moama/Echuca region. The Discovery Centre is the booking office for some of the paddlesteamers operating out of Echuca, our tickets for a 1 hour ride on PS Adelaide cost $32 each, our dog got his K9 Cargo ticket for $0 and it was especially made out to him. During the 1 hour ride the Skipper was giving a running commentary, telling us about the history of paddlesteamers on the Murray, the massive Echuca wharf and other aspects of the river trade.
The discovery Centre also houses a very interesting museum and outside in the wharf precinct is an operating steam engine, a reconstruction of an old timber mill, an old barge and other items from years ago. There is also a guided walking tour of the Port Precinct available, well worth doing to learn more history of Echuca.
