点评:Well so sorry to say and I truly hope the new owners read this. 4 of us for a night out. We always loved Edgar's. Send everyone we know and visiting tourists there. Consistently good food and service. The NY Steaks were horrible ( second time there with new owners and first time wasn't great but gave it a second chance ) Nothing but gristle and fat. Thinner cut than the old Edgars. We told the waitress and she said the cook said it was a bad cut of meat. Really. Then don't use it. We were talking to friends and they had the exact issue the other day. They also brought up to us that the mashed potatoes were starchy. We didn't mention that to waitress but we thought the same thing. Edgars mashed were amazing fluffy and tasty.
So none of us wanted, nor would take any kind of compensation for the bad meal. But at least an offer. None made even after the " chef" said he knew it was bad cuts.
Not good business. We tipped the waitress good and told her we hope the owners get this feed back as we will not be recommending it, especially when our friends had the exact same problem.

Your staff shouldn't be wearing pajama bottoms while working in a dinner house.
