Good place to dive in Isla del Caño

点评：By chance, someone at a parking lot near Río Celeste gave us the contact for Drake Divers to go diving at Isla del Caño and visit Corcovado National Park. It’s run by Sergi and Carles, two Catalans who have been there for many years.
The dive center itself is just a place where they receive clients and where you pick up the dive gear. The equipment is standard, typical worn rental gear. You wake up early to be at the beach by 7 a.m. From there, it’s about a 1-hour boat ride to Isla del Caño. Our guide was Zoba, very friendly and professional. Diving there is amazing and exciting: strong currents, low visibility, white-tip sharks, turtles, scorpionfish, needlefish... all while hearing the sounds of whales (it was migration season). We dove at "El Ancla" and "El Bajo del Diablo." Between dives, we stopped at Isla del Caño for a quick fruit snack, and after we finished diving, we went to a beach near Aguijitas de Drake for lunch. Everything was great.
The price... it's rather expensive compared to other destinations but in line with other dive centers in the area.
We also went with them on an excursion to Corcovado National Park. In this case, you wake up even earlier (you need to be at the beach by 6 a.m.) and then it's just over an hour's boat ride to the park entrance. Our guide was Jen. She was an excellent guide: friendly, very knowledgeable, and you could tell she really enjoyed her work.
This company is highly recommended for exploring Corcovado, both by land and sea.
