点评:We stopped off to see the stone carvers at work on our way to this site. That was kind of interesting and clearly a tough way to earn a living. When we got to PHNOM SUNTUK MOUNTAIN we could immediately tell that this was a tired and sad tourist attraction. We knew you could take a motorcycle ride to the top but we decided to embark on the 800 steps to the top. A friendly stray dog followed us for most of the journey until he got into a fight with a monkey. When we got to the top we were surprised by how large The complex was. However The temple site at the top was covered in litter and detritus. Clearly tourist sites outside of Siem reap get very little Central or local government funding. I would only make this journey if you really want to kill a bit of time and support the local economy.
