点评：We typically make 2-3 trips to the Big Apple in Colborne. Our first trip for 2025 was this past Saturday, July 12, 2025. I have to agree with Sheila on the quality of the pastries. For $20, you get a 12" blueberry pie with a very lardy crust. The blueberry filling has the exact same taste, texture, and scent as an E.D. Smith can. I tried calling the Big Apple this morning - there was no answer.
The signature Apple Bread had limited apples - more cinnamon. In the past, the apple bread was moist and filled with apples. This item is no longer worth the $5.99 price tag. The flavour quality is similar to something you get from Loblaws.
The place is wonderful with the animals, clean bathrooms - a good rest stop for families.
The freshness has gone. Owners really need to pivot or look at their quality. Money isn't everything - you're missing out on the goodness it used to be. You should sell it to someone who will take care of it.
