点评：My 6-year old and I spent about 2 hours here and loved every minute of it. We paid extra to both feed the lorikeets and do the parrot encounter. I will say the parrot encounter is kind of just a photo op - which is great for the parrots, I'm glad they aren't being bothered - but in retrospect we could have skipped that add-on & fed the lorikeets twice lol.
The aviary was really cool, lots of neat birds who get very close to you. There was also a very large tortoise going for a walk my 6-year old was delighted to see. We enjoyed the other exhibits too - the enclosure of bats was especially cool. I wish we had caught them eating.
Definitely do the lorikeet feeding. We do these kind of bird feeding experiences every time we see them & we still always love them. If you've never fed little parrots, its a blast. It goes quickly though so I would have done it more than once & skipped the parrot encounter, if i could go back. Also staff will take pictures of you while your feeding them - which is really cool because its quite hard to take a selfie feeding birds. This is the 1st place I've ever seen offer that and we do these kind of encounters at zoos pretty often. I thought it was well worth the $15 charge to get digital copies of those pictures.
The little museum portion isn't super entertaining but there is a cute photo op with a barrel - we had been looking for where to find one of those so seems worth noting.
