点评:We really enjoyed our visit with our young son (10 months old). Our tour guide, Patrick, really made an effort to engage our son even though he's too young to understand. I felt I learnt a lot about John Bunyan. He's somebody who stood up for what he believed in, at great cost to himself. I wasn't expecting too much as I had read that the museum is small, but there's quite a lot packed into a small area - items owned by John Bunyan, a collection of books written by him, a pulpit he had preached in a few months before he died, recreation of his prison cell, photos of local places which may have inspired different places in Pilgrim's Progress. Makes me want to go back and ready the book again. Bedford town itself is also really pretty. I think you could spend a couple of days travelling around different locations related to Bunyan if you are interested in him. Amazing value that it's free entry. We gave a donation as I definitely think it's worth keeping open!
