Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club的点评
点评：Minehead hosted our annual golf tour this past July, it was the 1st time we had attempted a links course. We have a range of handicaps from 10 to 36 and the chaps at the Pro Shop assured me we would be fine on the course.
It did not disappoint!
We did three days of golf on the course, two days on carts and one day walking. The walk is a good one and the course is easy to walk and well laid out. We were there in the peak of the heat and the course had taken an absolute battering from the heat but the greens were spectacular! The grounds people working them deserve a medal really! Fantastic course, well laid out for easy play and space if you are not a scratch golfer!
The members were good with us too, large group taking up a lot of space, but we made sure we played within the club rules but the members made us feel at home. The club house was great with all the options and the food we had (Pie chips and gravy) went home like a homesick mole washed down by a freezing cold cider.
Glen, Jordan and John at the Club house were great. Nothing seemed to be too much for them while we were there. We were late for a tee off on the last day and by all rights should have binned us, they kept the field going and slid us in. We all massively appreciated that and know full well they didnt need to do that.
This is certainly a course and place I would recommend to people and groups, fantastic course, club house, members and management team. We really appreciated all your help and we will certainly be back.
