Great experience at Kibuye
Visit Lake Kivu Boat tour & Adventure的点评
点评：I used this company for 3 tours: the boat cruise, traditional coffee tour and kayak hire.
The boat cruise was a great time! Aimable was good company: full of knowledge and great chat. We went to Napoleon island where we saw thousands of bats. It was fascinating. We climbed up to the top of the island and enjoyed the great views. On the way back we went past a number of islands seeing monkeys and birdlife. We got off another island and enjoyed macadamias and saw banana plantations. I appreciated that we were able to be picked up at our accommodation which had beach access.
The traditional coffee experience was great too. We went to a home of a small local coffee grower called Rea. She and Aimable explained the process of coffee from plant to bean, roast to drink. It was a fascinating experience.
Lastly, we hired some kayaks for 2 hours in the evening. It was great to have the freedom to explore where we wanted on Lake Kivu. Without the noise of engines were about to get quite close to some birdlife on the lake coast and appreciate birdsong. It was a great way to end the day
If you're coming to Lake Kivu/Kibuye, I highly recommend doing these experiences!
