点评:We went for a Sunday roast. The beef was not roasted but a piece of silverside which was braised and tough as old boots. The vegetables were raw and undercooked. The leeks were tough and raw with no attempt to cook. The carrot and parsnip were hard again undercooked although they looked like they had been roasted I suspect they were put in hot fat to burn the outside but the centres were hard and raw. The Yorkshire pudding was ok but plonked into it were a cold pale undercook pig in blanket with very undercooked cold lump of packet stuffing. Even the roast potatoes needed more cooking as hard.
If the “chef” says he’s qualified then I would ask to see his qualification as I suspect he has none by the quality of the cooking.
A rough and ready pub with loud music and drunk men standing around the bar. Would not be suitable for families.
