点评：When meeting up with family, The George was halfway between us and proved to be a really good choice.
From the outside it doesn’t look particularly appealing, however don’t always judge a book by its cover.
Our rooms were lovely, very spacious and spotless with nice decor and furnishings. If I was being super critical, the room was a little dark and would benefit from a few lamps. The bathroom was really nice, loads of room to place bits and bobs (I don’t travel light) and a large powerful shower.
The food was excellent, to start we enjoyed, crab fritters, pate and scallops with Clonakilty black pudding, so tasty. To follow, roasted cod fillet, chicken Kyiv and chicken supreme, such generous portions and delicious.
The breakfast was outstanding, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, black pudding, fried potatoes, tomato, beans, choice of egg, a mountain of deliciousness. We also had a couple of lighter options of bacon and fried eggs and eggs Benedict, again amazing.
The staff were fabulous, the accommodation excellent and the food just immense.
