What a shame
The Poacher & Partridge Bar的点评
点评：Only had a drink at the bar thankfully, Loads of young staff hanging around chatting. On entering the bar a man greeted my husband with "awright mate". Then called us both "mate" for the duration of our short stay.
We sat at the bar and the pub was relatively quiet. The counter where we had our drinks was swimming in drinks/water and when I asked if it could be wiped down the very disinterested barman raised his eyebrows and then went off to mutter to his colleagues standing near the entrance. I commented to my husband that I would not have been surprised if he handed me some paper towels to clean the bar myself. In the event he turned up and swished some paper over the bar which was soaking wet and turned away with out making any eye contact with us even though we thanked him for what he should have done already.
Warm white wine and very expensive. We live around the corner and have been going to this place since it was refurbished but don't understand how the owners have managed to let it go so downhill as when it was first opened it was fantastic and we visited every week. Everyone we speak to locally say the same kind of things and yet the place is full of mostly young people having cocktails, so may be that is the sign of things to come.
