点评：Whiteman Park is one of those rare places that manages to combine open space, wildlife, and genuine character all in one setting. I spent a few hours cycling through the park and was struck by how peaceful it felt, despite the number of attractions tucked away within it. Along the way, I came across wild kangaroos, including mothers with babies in their pouches a sight that simply stops you in your tracks.
I’ve written separate reviews for the WA Car Museum and Caversham Wildlife Park, both outstanding and well worth visiting in their own right. I didn’t have the chance to explore the other attractions this time, but I did wander through the village area, where the small shops and café add a welcoming touch and make for a pleasant break during the day.
There’s an easy charm about Whiteman Park. It’s the sort of place where families, cyclists, and nature lovers can all find something to enjoy. Whether you’re after a quiet ride, a picnic under the trees, or a full day of exploring, it’s well worth adding to your list when in Western Australia.
