Excellent Traditional Village Pub
Queens Head - Kettlesing的点评
点评：We stopped for a short break in Birswith and went for a long walk around various villages in the area and stumbled up on the Queens Head in Kettlesing what a find!
We didn't get their until around 8pm asked for a drink then sat down wondering if they still served food? just about the time we were going to ask, the landlady approached us and asked if we wanted food at about 8:10pm we said if possible? her reply was they normally finish at 8pm but she would accommodate us if we wanted to eat (Really pleased) I ordered the steak and ale pie which was recommended by a local it was excellent, my wife ordered fish and chips again really excellent upon paying we told the landlady were we staying about a 45mins walk and she then offered to take us home at about 9:30pm because it was getting dark and drizzling, but we thanked her for her generosity and we decided to walk home to walk the steak and pie off.
Again great find, good local village pub, cosy and welcoming, very good hospitality a credit to the village well worth a visit but we ran out of time for another visit next time we are in the area we will definitely be returning.5 Star!
