点评：We came for the new management event a few weeks ago, and again yesterday to the Christmas event. It seems well run, the pub itself is clean, the bar is well stocked and it has been nicely organised both times we have come in.
The bar staff are lovely, they are polite and knowledgeable about what they're selling and seemed to be enjoying themselves, which was great to see!
Drinks are reasonably priced but there seems to be a lack of glasses, we received some drinks in glasses branded for others, but I understand that is a fairly petty thing to complain about.
It could do with redecorating, the paintwork is quite dull and old-looking, the furniture needs replacing and there could be a lot more light in there. Its a bit of a shame since the walls and furniture do not reflect the events and entertainment well.
The only complaint I really could have is about some of the customers, there were a couple of kids running around unsupervised and some of the other customers were quite rude both in general and to the staff. This is obviously not a fault of the pub, but was a little off-putting.
Overall, the pub is fantastic and could be an asset to the community if more people went throughout the week, as it always looks unfortunately quiet. It could do with a couple of touch-ups here and there, but the staff are doing an excellent job. I love that there are seasonal events going on now and plan on attending more in the future.
Massive thank you and congratulations to the team for the 2 great events we've been to, they deserve to be very proud of themselves. We're hoping there's a lot to look forwards to in the future!
