Steeped in local history, the pub is reputedly named after the Earl of Rothes, a colonel in the Surrey Yeomanry Regiment.
From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with genuine warmth by the landlord, Mateo, and his assistant, Jorgia, whose hospitality immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable visit.
The Surrey Yeoman boasts an impressive selection of beers on tap, catering to a range of tastes, and is complemented by excellent food that more than lives up to expectations. Whether stopping in for a quiet pint or settling down for a meal, it is a pub that combines history, quality, and friendly service in equal measure.
