Great food. Service needs work
The New Inn的点评
点评：Just been for a Sunday roast. Food was lovely service needs work. Served first by a lovely guy speedy and polite. After this it went downhill. Received Sunday roast beef was a little delayed but all was explained and we were happy. Didn’t get asked if everything was ok with our meal didn’t get asked if we would like more drinks. Waited for our plates to be cleared for a while. Was asked if we wanted to see the desert menu by our waitress to just go MIA we had to call her over 15 mins later. Finished deserts then it was a ghost town. I looked around and the remaining tables all had plates to be cleared. There were 5 tables in the restaurant and 3 members of staff so this to me is unacceptable It was clear service was over and the staff were done for the day. We went over to pay and it seemed the staff had decided to eat dinner behind the bar. I find this such as shame as the food was lovely and we talking about having Christmas dinner with you. I did try and email you before writing a review but couldn’t find an address.
翻译：刚吃完周日烤肉大餐。食物很美味，但服务还有待改进。一开始有一位很友善的男服务员为我们服务，动作迅速且礼貌有加。不过之后情况就每况愈下。我们点的周日烤肉上得稍微有些延迟，不过服务员解释得很清楚，我们也能理解。不过之后没人询问我们饭菜是否合口味，也没人问我们是否需要再点些饮品。我们等了一会儿才有人来收拾盘子。后来女服务员问我们是否想看看甜品菜单，说完就消失得无影无踪了；15分钟后我们不得不叫她回来。甜点上完后，餐厅就变成了一座“鬼城”。我环顾四周，剩下来的桌子上都还摆着需要清理的盘子。餐厅里共有5张桌子，而工作人员只有3名，这种情况在我看来是不可接受的。显然，服务已经结束，员工们也完成了一天的工作。我们去结账时，发现工作人员似乎决定在吧台后面吃晚餐。我觉得这真可惜，因为食物非常美味，我们本来还打算和你们一起过圣诞节呢。在写评论之前，我确实试着给您发邮件，但没能找到您的邮箱地址。
