Potentially great but expectations not met unfortunately 😕

点评：The location of the restaurant couldn't be any better for a sea view, and we couldn't resist booking a table by the window to enjoy a lobster thermidor as a holiday treat. Unfortunately the experience left us feeling a bit disappointed and underwhelmed and questioning if it was worth the money at all.
Firstly, the 00s rnb playing loudly from the bar ruined the potential ambience. Hearing "shorty got low low low" whilst I was trying to enjoy my very pricey meal was a bit off putting.
The lobster was advertised as 'thermidor' but the lobser meat was still intact and stuck to the shell and there was just a bit of sauce poured on top. Not the thermidor we're used to enjoying.
No one even bothered to come to ask us if our meal was ok, and by the time anyone walked past and took any notice of us we'd already finished.
To say we spent almost £100 on a 1 course meal, we had expected something a little more polished and with a little more finesse in general. We'd hoped to come away wanting to write a sparkling review- this restaurant has real potential to be amazing but it all just fell a little short of wonderful.
In our opinion we think the music should be something softer and lighter as background music (even a bit of smooth chill would do), staff need to be more attentive, (especially when customers have ordered the most expensive thing on the menu), and to improve the dish you should use freshly grated parmesan or gruyere cheese on the thermidor (not packaged pregrated cheese like we had) and prepare it how it's meant to be prepared. It wasn't horrible my any means, but there wasn't anything extra special about it unfortunately and we will be finding somewhere else to get lobster next time we visit the coast.

在我们看来，背景音乐应该更柔和、更轻快一些（哪怕只是些舒缓的轻音乐也行）；服务人员也需要更加细心周到（尤其是当顾客点选了菜单上最贵的菜品时）。为了提升这道菜的口感，你应该在法式焗龙虾上撒上新鲜磨碎的帕尔马干酪或格鲁耶尔奶酪（千万别用那种预先磨碎好的包装奶酪，就像我们这次用的那样），并按照正确的做法来烹制。这道菜绝对不算难吃，但遗憾的是也没什么特别出彩之处。下次我们再去海边时，打算换一家店来购买龙虾了。
