I got seriously sick with campylobacter caused from raw chicken. I ate here for the first time and ordered panang chicken curry and the day after I starting having symptoms of food poisoning. It then continuously got worse and I got taken to the hospital by an ambulance. I was passing blood. The doctors took many tests including a CT scan. They picked up infectious colitis, my colon was badly inflamed, caused by raw poultry. I knew the last meal I ate that was meat was from this restaurant. I was dehydrated and disoriented. I was put on a IV drip and was in hospital for 5 days on antibiotics. Luckily I’m generally fit and well and fought through it but the doctor said if it had been someone vulnerable or elderly it’s fatal! They contacted environmental health and I rang the restaurant the owner was very unapologetic and had no remorse in even to ask if I was ok! It affected me physically and mentally, I am self employed and I lost income not being fit to work. I appalled with his response to this and I would avoid eating here if I was you! The doctors booked me in 6 weeks later to have a colonoscopy to check for any long term damage. I take this very seriously so please take my advice and be careful. I have told many of my clients from work, friends and family to stay away!!
