Disappointing, with poor customer service

点评：After having a lovely dinner at Fratelli's, we thought we would finish the evening off with a quick drink before heading home. We decided to pop into the Diamond Inn. It was quiet, but with some people. One table we wanted to sit at was full of glasses and bottles that hadn't been cleared away so we cleared them ourselves. The two members of staff that were behind the bar that evening clearly didn't want to be there. We opted for a bottle of wine between us, and on giving us the glasses with the bottle, we noticed that two glasses were a bit grubby and sticky. I went back to the bar counter and just as I got the words out "would it be possible to change ..", the young lady behind the bar didn't even acknowledge me but just grabbed the glasses off the counter and went off to get another two. Terrible! Call me old fashioned, but the bar staff should also ideally be wearing some kind of uniform, e.g. black and white with a nice apron instead of scruffy jeans and t-shirts (that don't fit them and you can see their midriff). The hour we were there, we also had to endure the screeches of young girls who were talking over to the bar staff. Don't know where the manager was.
Needless to say, not an enjoyable experience.
