Lovely setting...awful food!
The Ship Inn的点评
点评：Called in the Ship around 1.30 for lunch whilst staying in our motorhome at a nearby campsite.
The welcome wasn't great as we waited by the 'wait here to be seated' sign whilst nearby staff didn't seem bothered.
Found a table but had to wait at the unattended bar to eventually get some menus.
Ordered food, which arrived quite quickly but unfortunately was not good.
I ordered veggie sausage and mash which arrived on a plate slightly larger than a teaplate!
The green beans were cold and like rubber, the mash was barely warm and the veggie sausages were obviously out of a packet and dry and hard.
I'm not a fussy eater, but for around £15 you expect something better.
My wife's halloumi skewer was just ok, with the halloumi barely cooked and lots of raw peppers on the plate...the dog seemed to enjoy the halloumi though.
I think the pub may have been very busy before we arrived as it was a lovely day and the area was rammed, so the kitchen and staff may have been tired, but if you can't cook/warm up simple meals on a lunchtime then there's something fundsmentally wrong with the business.
On a positive note, the setting of the pub is beautiful and the views stunning.

积极的一面是，酒吧环境优美，景色令人叹为观止。
