点评:My Wife and I have been visiting the Blue Bell for lunchtime food for a while now and normally get the fish and chips with peas which is usually quite nice . Today we went in and decided to order the £11.95 small steak with chips and two onion rings . first things first , the pub has recently been refurbished and as expected the punter is always going to pay in the long run for any updating of a pub so the prices have risen slightly ( accepted ) . The pub was not unusually busy but we still waited just over half an hour before my wife went to ask the girl behind the bar if our food was ready as we were now behind time for another appointment and was told it would be a couple of minutes . Five minutes later our food arrived with an apology . We had ordered a medium steak each but on cutting into it and tasting it was obvious the steak was overdone , dry and not exactly hot , the same with the chips which had obviously been standing and the onion rings ! Now I hope the manager / manageress takes this as constructive criticism but we counted five different Uber delivery people coming in to collect their orders and even before our meal eventually arrived I did say to my wife that the pub is overiding their regular bar meal customers to give priority to these delivery people and that is exactly what was happening !!! Bar meal pubs such as this should prioritise their regular bar meal customers over Uber delivery people as it is not professional at all . Either employ more kitchen staff or stop messing around with these uber delivery people after all you are a pub not a fast food joint .
