Dirty and unwelcoming.

点评：I called ahead to make sure dogs were allowed in whilst I was eating. I was informed, yes, but only outside. Not a problem, I reserved a table. On my arrival I ended up seating myself as 2 members of staff walked straight past me (not with food or drink for customers) as I stood waiting to be shown to my table. The table was very dirty with dried food and drink, the floor was covered in old food. I had to move it with my feet. I politely asked for the table to be cleaned, the girl that came took one look at my well behaved dog and completely freaked out. Now, I understand that some people are frightened of dogs. So don’t work in the area dogs are allowed in. I ended up cleaning the table myself, twice as it was that bad. I also, had to ask for a menu. I made my food and drink choices and chose to use the QR code to order. On attempting to pay their system wouldn’t take AMEX and I didn’t know the CVC code for my Visa card. I asked a staff member if he could take my order, the answer was “no” I would have to go to the bar……but I have a dog I mentioned. He replied then you can’t pay at the bar. On asking his manager what to do he offered to watch my dog whist I went in. The whole thing was ridiculous and very off putting. I went back to my campsite and ate there again (Badgers Barn), somewhere where the night before the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.
