点评:I’m the type of person who really wants to write positive reviews but unfortunately in this instance I just have to be honest and hope that the management and staff learn from their mistakes. We had already visited 2 other pubs on the same day (all positive experiences) and decided to give this establishment a go. The lady who serves us just lacked any sort of enthusiasm and it seemed obvious she’d had a bad day. Sorry, I’ve been in customer facing roles all my career and if you can’t play the enthusiast host when you’re having a bad day then you need to work in a bank rather than hospitality. She followed this up with a conversation with 2 other customers and it was apparent that all and sundry wanted us to leave as we were well within opening hours. Talk about feeling unwelcome. We walked out found another pub and spent well over £100 in drinks. As Julia Roberts said “Big mistake”. In a cold winter’s evening when you’re struggling to cover the bills, I won’t be there feeling sorry for you.
