Beekeeping experience is a must do!

点评：We specifically came to the area to do the beekeeping experience at Quince Honey Farm. The beekeeping experience exceeded expectations. Marie was informative, friendly and kept us at ease throughout and we got to do more than we thought we would (it helps that we were fairly calm and keen ourselves). Whilst that was our main reason for going, we did spend a few hours there before, for a spot of lunch, the factory tour and some honey shopping! For those who love honey, it’s paradise! The factory tour was really interesting and there was a taster at the end. There were lots more tours and talks you could do but we probably should have come for longer than we did do as to do them all. All the staff were super friendly and engaging. The food in the restaurant was really good, my only feedback and the only reason I am leaving a 4 rather than a 5 is that they probably need more staff in there on a busy day (Saturday at the start of half term) - we had to queue a very long time and ended up just having coffee and cake to tide us over and came back later to have some lunch as otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to do any of the tours. But I think if you’ve got a whole day to be there and so could do some morning and some afternoon tours that would be the best approach! Thank you to all the team there for an enjoyable day out and making our beekeeping dream come true!
