点评：We had the Sir Winston Churchill's fabulous refurbished 1925 train carriage afternoon tea experience. It was an exceptional trip on a steam train and very good value. From the impeccable station house, little museum and picturesque platform the Stewards greeted us and showed us to our seats and were at ease with making conversation the entire journey. One of them also gave our carriage of guests a really interesting short history of it. It was wonderful gliding very close, past the rural part of the River Dart and seeing Herons, Swans and other wildlife on the water. We also had the treat of the seeing some beautiful residents of the rare Animal breeds petting farm, along the way. One tiny issue if you're interested - from a retired graduate hotelier and Chef); perhaps use thinner bread for the sandwiches and ramp up the seasoning and vary the textures in the vegetarian option? (plenty of tasty ideas if you need any!) other than that the tea stand was so beautifully presented with lovely white linen tablecloths and napkins, Champagne flutes and gorgeous china. What a memorable treat. Thank you to all, and those behind the scenes.
