点评：Having read about the refurb and seeing the photos we booked lunch for Sunday.
The place is lovely, masses of outdoor seating with lovely views over the forest. My husband had roast beef, I had mushroom wellington. The beef was, apparently, very nice. Sadly the mushroom wellington, not so. There was very little taste, but lots of massive mushrooms. Sadly the pastry was soft and soggy. However there were about 7 veg. Roast potatoes were over cooked. On a plus lovely cauliflower cheese and oodles of gravy, which is always a plus in my book. Unfortunately when the guy was bringing my lunch out he knocked into someone, hence gravy sloshed over the edge of the plate. He was apologetic. All staff we came into contact with were very helpful, friendly and polite. Don't think we'll be back for food but will be for drinks.
