WWT Washington Wetland Centre的点评
点评：Staff harass you to get you to leave half an hour early so they can close up and leave work. Thoroughly unpleasant and how close the men stood to us made me very uncomfortable.
We (my friend and I) were sitting on a bench 5 minutes walk from the exit at 5pm when we were approached by a staff member who said it was closing time. When I replied saying the closing time online said 5:30, he said he needed to get “everyone out” (we were the only people in the park) right now so there was “enough time” to get them through the exit. When I didn’t reply he threatened to lock us in and just stood over us for 5 minutes telling us to move before walking off.
At 5:10 we got up to walk back to the entrance (because we were super uncomfortable, we immediately wanted to leave then) and another staff member appeared and literally forward-marched us back to the exit because we tried to walk back the direction we came, which was apparently slightly longer and thus unacceptable. He walked right behind us and it freaked us out, it was way too close and it felt like we were being thrown out by a bouncer. He also kept asking why we wouldn’t reply to him (we were silent and freaked out, just trying to walk fast) and when we replied saying we found him a bit rude he told us he wasn’t rude and muttered something about women overreacting to himself, thinking we couldn’t hear.
We were out of the park at 5:18 and it couldn’t be fast enough - for either the staff or us. Would not return, I just wanted to look at some nice birds and I ended up feeling really encroached on and freaked out by the male staff.
