If you love cheap frozen microwave food this is your place!

点评：Live local to this pub and always liked it. Menu was a typical sizzler type menu cheap cheerful and microwaved but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. After a small refurb they’ve bought in a new slimmed down expensive menu. Great! Thought the microwave was being dished and they were getting a real chef 😀 So today we decided to come try their roast dinners. Approx £15 per head is about average for a carvery round here … oh dear! The microwave and frozen Aunt Bessie’s was in full swing! Absolutely everything on the plate was frozen microwaved food. I had beef which was on the bone and inedible ( I’ve seen these in Iceland) The veg was cold and hard again obviously from a mixed bag of frozen veg. 3 Aunt Bessie type Yorkshire Puddings and 1 stuffing ball which were that hard I would of needed a trip to Turkey to sort my teeth out if I had tried to eat it Tiny gravy boat with instant gravy that was that thick it came out in one lump 😂 The pub itself was almost empty which should of given us a clue that the food was no good. Empty at 3 o’clock on a Sunday is not a good sign. Needless to say we’ve tried it but won’t be eating here again.
