The Cross Keys的点评
点评：Friends recommended the Historic Cross Keys of Llantrisant for Sunday Dinner, alas it was a Great Disappointment in more ways than one. 50 years ago this was my local and a joy it was. However, those memories made today's experience so much worse.
The Cross Keys has seen many change of hands over the years, the result is not very complimentary, offering a less than welcoming greeting. A dog barking behind the bar was our greeting and an occupied table of two again with a dog adjacent. We were shown to our reserved table which was very close to a table of 6 loud guests.
We ordered drinks and our choice from the short menus, which was fine. However, the meals were cold and mine had to be returned for reheating.
I'm very disappointed by the experience today as Llantrisant and the Cross Keys deserve so much better.
The Cross Keys as a building is an iconic and extremely historic place and you could be easily fooled into believing it was just another building in this Great town.
Whilst the management offered verbal genuine apologies these paled into insignificance for the damage caused.
