Halfway House Inn, Bridgnorth的点评
点评：We stayed here at the campsite at the back of the pub for 3 nights… lovely quiet site, adults only, a little bit of noise from the dogs at the farm nearby but soon became background noise.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner who showed us to our pitches by the shower block (small & basic but perfectly functional).. that night we ate in the pub, basic pub food but properly tasty and good value for money!
Location wise, you can walk into Bridgnorth, which we did on our first day to visit the Severn Valley Railway BUT it’s along a main road with intermittent footpath access so you need to be fairly road savvy. The next day after asking in the pub, we got a taxi which was £7 there & £7 back but it allowed us to spend a little more time out as it was starting to get dark earlier and we definitely didn’t want to walk that road in the dark :-/
Overall, a brilliant little site which is perfect for a quiet getaway.
