Average, but not always friendly
Baydale Beck Inn的点评
点评：Note - same pub as BAYDALE BECK, just a rear view photo.
We've visted about once a month for food/drinks/quiz for the past year, usually with friends, dog friendly especially in the summer.
Beer - always 2 guest cask ales on - at least twice we've had to ask for a fresh one as sour, always changed without any issues though.
Food - generally nice, main/specials menu does not feel like value for money - we had a small, ok, pizza for £18. However if there is restaurant week or deals on they are good. Parmos are great. Roast is big but not the best.
Staff - barstaff are all lovely and work hard. The landlady can be terrifying though and really puts me off returning.
Quiz - always shambolic, usually fun. Obviously fixed for friends of the landlady though which does spoil the atmosphere, so be prepared to win then for the rules to change.
Decor - I prefer the bar which is functional and traditional, lounge and conservatory are a little souless.
Overall an average pub where the landlady sets the tone.
