点评：Although our experience did not start off well, we would definitely return again. Our reservation was for 11 people and a dog. We were promptly seated in the back room and were ready to order. After a long time, a lady came to inform us, that we can not sit there with our dog, that dogs are welcomed only in the front room. More waiting. After at least half hour, we were seated around several tables in the appropriate room, and being from the US, we waited for someone to take our drink order, by now the kids (5) were restless. No one came to explain the order and pay system, we finally saw a sign at the bar. More waiting followed, we had to choose food and pay for it at the bar as well. All this confusion made us regret coming here, however after having a drink and seeing the carvery and veg choices, we relaxed and were able to enjoy an absolutely delicious Sunday roast. Portions served were plentiful, the meat tender and juicy, the nut roast was liked by our vegetarians. We had also enjoyed the live entertainment, a lovely lady with a very beautiful voice and we stayed around for additional half hour listening to her. The pub is in a convenient location with plenty of parking, and a quaint old church nearby if you fancy a short postprandial walk.
